A little bit about Phoebe Malone
Phoebe, like so many other health practitioners, were drawn to this profession through their own health struggles.
Phoebe has been passionately obsessed with all things natural health from a young age after enduring a back injury when she was 6 and then developing scoliosis (spine deformities). Her parents lovingly tried to get her out of pain and took her to many practitioners across all modalities, yet any relief from pain was temporary. When Phoebe was 18 years old she got parasites travelling overseas and became severely underweight. She then took her health into her own hands and rebuilt her body inside and out, through wholesome nutrition, conscious movement, strength training and yoga. Now health practitioners can hardly detect any curvature of her spine and she is pain free 90% of the time.
Phoebe spent over 6 years working for a non for profit health food organisation in Mullumbimby, where she was completely absorbed in the natural health industry. She spent all her time researching new products, trying and testing different supplements, herbal medicines and food philosophies. She befriended Naturopaths and Acupuncturists, and when she was 23 she knew it was time to seek more out of life and help others with their own health on a larger scale.
Chinese medicine was the clear option, being a heavily kinesthetic modality with deep roots in herbal medicine, nutrition and biomedicine, the dream career for Phoebe!
However, she never imagined how deep and profound this medicine could be and it has developed her understanding of true health and wellness from a microcosmic to macrocosmic view, grounded in the natural environment.
Phoebe now spends all her time developing herself physically, mentally and spiritually, and continuing to practice and research Chinese medicine based on her clients’ needs.
